Horseradish Tartar Sauce

(Makes: 4 Servings)

Increase the horseradish to suit your taste.

1 stalk celery, strings removed, finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped cornichons or sour pickles
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
6 tablespoons Homemade Mayonnaise, or prepared
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

In a small bowl, combine celery, cornichons,
horseradish, parsley, mustard, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve.

Tartar Sauce 1

Serve chilled with fried or broiled fish,
dressing for cold salmon or as a seafood dip.

(Makes: 1 Cup (250 mL)

3/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp Chopped parsley
tbsp Lemon juice

In a small bowl stir together all ingredients until well mixed.

Tartar Sauce 2

2 cups Mayonnaise
3 oz. Pickle Relish
1 bunch Green Onions (diced)
1 Lemon (juice)
2 tbsp. Parsley (minced)
1 tsp. Tabasco
2 tbsp. Capers (chopped)
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Garlic (minced)
1/2 cup Onion (minced)

Mix all ingredients together then refrigerate until needed.

Tartar Sauce 3

(Makes: About 1 1/4 Cup)

1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped capers
1 tablespoon chopped cornichons
2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley leaves
1/2 lemon, juiced
Dash hot sauce

In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
Chill before serving to let the flavors marry.

Makes: 5 Servings

1 pint mayonnaise
2/3 cup dill pickle relish
2 tablespoons minced white onion
1 ounce lemon juice
Pickle juice

Mix ingredients together, refrigerate, and serve as needed.

Tartar Sauce 5

1 cup mayonnaise
1 white onion, chopped
1/2 cup dill pickle chips, chopped
Fresh lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Pinch of 1/4 cup garlic powder
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

For the tartar sauce, combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend to achieve desired chunkiness, adjust seasoning and chill until ready to use.
